Christine Msibi is a cultural administrator, curator, and project and production management with over a decade’s experience strengthening Africa’s creative industries. She has been involved in multimillion-euro grant programmes, including Music In Africa Live (2020–2022) and the Sound Connects Fund (2023–2024), and currently serves as Grant Officer for the Concerts SA Mobility Subsidy, enabling artist travel and collaboration across Southern Africa. Her work also includes participation in programmes capacitating youth through Basslines the Live Music Lab, sector research on Mozambique’s creative economy for the World Bank, and international collaborations at IKS Cultural Consulting, where she led South-Ex (with COSCAP Barbados) and BUWA! The Sound of Speaking Out (commissioned by GIZ). Christine is committed to using the arts as powerful tools for advocacy, capacity building, and cross-cultural exchange.
